As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter points, noting unusual activity and/or conditions that could require attention.
• Assist with access control activities by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access, and helping to deter unauthorized persons from restricted areas.
• Support a professional healthcare environment by observing daily operations, communicating with site contacts, and documenting security-related incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
