Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Handyman / Load Helper to join our team. This dual-role position includes assisting with general maintenance tasks as well as physical labor such as loading, unloading, and transporting materials or equipment. The ideal candidate is versatile, hands-on, and takes pride in doing quality work.
Responsibilities:
Handyman Duties:
- Perform basic repairs including drywall patching, painting, minor plumbing, and carpentry
- Assemble furniture, fixtures, or equipment as needed
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance
- Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
Load Helper Duties:
- Assist in loading and unloading materials, equipment, or furniture
- Move items safely between locations or job sites
- Operate dollies, hand trucks, and other moving equipment
- Secure items for transport and help maintain vehicle/workspace organization
- Follow instructions from supervisors and team leads
Requirements:
- Previous experience in general maintenance or handyman work preferred
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50+ lbs repeatedly
- Familiarity with basic tools and equipment
- Good physical stamina and willingness to work indoors and outdoors
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
- Ability to work well in a team and take direction
- Valid driver’s license (preferred but not required)
