T he Restaurant General Manager will oversee a medium-sized team of 20-50 staff members, ensuring smooth daily operations across all functional areas. This role involves managing budgets exceeding $1 million, enforcing health and safety compliance, and leading marketing efforts focused on local promotions, brand strategy, and digital channels. The manager will also maintain strong vendor relations, optimize inventory control, and drive quality assurance to uphold high standards throughout the restaurant. No travel to other locations is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead restaurant staff to optimize performance and foster a positive workplace
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve guest concerns efficiently
• Control inventory and maintain vendor relationships to ensure consistent supply
• Oversee budgeting and financial performance with responsibility for budgets over $1 million
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain quality standards
• Develop and implement marketing strategies including local promotions, events, and digital marketing
• Conduct training and development programs to enhance team skills
• Manage scheduling and operational planning to maximize efficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in restaurant management
• Food Safety Certification
• Proven team leadership and conflict resolution skills
• Strong financial management and budgeting expertise
• Excellent customer service and inventory management abilities
• Experience with scheduling software and marketing strategies
• Thorough understanding of health and safety compliance
• Effective communication skills
