We are currently searching for an experienced Frontend Software Developer to support our Corporate IT Group located in Mobile, AL .
What you’ll be doing:
- Design and develop professional and intuitive user interfaces (UI) based on given requirements
- Create UI previews to be presented for approval
- Develop features to enhance user experience (UX)
- Ensure websites and web applications are smartphone capable
- Build maintainable, reusable code for future use
- Optimize web pages and applications for maximum efficiency, speed, and scalability
- Employ a diverse and suitable selection of markup languages to design web pages
- Maintain a consistent design across all websites and web applications
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Collaborate with stakeholders and fellow developers to design, prototype, and implement features and applications
What you need to have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of experience in software development
- Strong understanding of programming languages such as React JS/Native, Vue JS, Flutter
- Experience with agile methodologies and version control systems
- Proficiency in database design and development preferred
- Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and containerization
- Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening to ensure a safe and productive work environment. Volkert adheres to federal guidelines, which may include testing for substances such as marijuana. Please note that federal regulations may differ from state-specific guidelines
- If applicable to the position, a post offer fit for duty evaluation to ensure the individual can safely perform the essential functions of the role
- Valid driver’s license
- A satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR)
