We are currently searching for an experienced Frontend Software Developer to support our Corporate IT Group located in Mobile, AL .

What you’ll be doing:

• Design and develop professional and intuitive user interfaces (UI) based on given requirements
• Create UI previews to be presented for approval
• Develop features to enhance user experience (UX)
• Ensure websites and web applications are smartphone capable
• Build maintainable, reusable code for future use
• Optimize web pages and applications for maximum efficiency, speed, and scalability
• Employ a diverse and suitable selection of markup languages to design web pages
• Maintain a consistent design across all websites and web applications
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Collaborate with stakeholders and fellow developers to design, prototype, and implement features and applications

What you need to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of experience in software development
• Strong understanding of programming languages such as React JS/Native, Vue JS, Flutter
• Experience with agile methodologies and version control systems
• Proficiency in database design and development preferred
• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and containerization
• Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening to ensure a safe and productive work environment. Volkert adheres to federal guidelines, which may include testing for substances such as marijuana. Please note that federal regulations may differ from state-specific guidelines
• If applicable to the position, a post offer fit for duty evaluation to ensure the individual can safely perform the essential functions of the role
• Valid driver’s license
• A satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR)
