Maintenance Worker

Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician needed ASAP to perform a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks on facilities, buildings, and equipment across various sites, working under general supervision. This role requires hands-on skills in multiple trades and the ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.

Job Details:

Rotation Schedule 12-hour shifts includes alternating weekends

Wages: $18-$25 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

1. Repair & Maintenance:
   • Perform routine repairs and maintenance on facilities, grounds, and equipment, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, glazier, and painting tasks.
   • Repair and maintain structural elements such as showers, floors, sinks, walls, carpets, and roofs.
   • Conduct minor repairs and adjustments on food processing equipment like conveyors and bearings.
2. HVAC & Refrigeration:
   • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems as needed.
3. Production Line Maintenance:
   • Inspect the production line to ensure optimal performance and troubleshoot as necessary.
   • Develop and implement safety policies for maintenance tasks and adhere to all safety protocols.
4. Technical Assignments:
   • Plan and execute maintenance services, including technical repairs and adjustments.
   • Terminate and troubleshoot wiring for both AC & DC voltages.
   • Use equipment such as a plasma cutter and acetylene torch as needed.

Working Conditions:

• Physical Requirements:
  • Must have the stamina to stand, walk, lift, and move for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces, high and low temperatures, and stressful situations.
• Availability:
  • Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Technical Proficiency:
  • Skilled in using various power and hand tools, and operating forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Able to troubleshoot electrical systems, including AC & DC voltage wiring.
  • Experienced with conveyor belts driving equipment
• Coordination & Documentation:
  • Excellent coordination skills and thorough documentation ability to track maintenance activities accurately.
• Communication & Teamwork:
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Able to build and maintain effective working relationships and follow instructions from supervisors.
