Server - Rhythm on Monroe Huntsville, Al

Spur is looking for upscale, dependable and hard working servers for the sophisticated Rhythm on Monroe restaurant in downtown Huntsville. Connected to the Von Braun Center, Rhythm on Monroe is a sophisticated restaurant serving patrons not only amazing food but a fun and hype experience. The ideal candidate will value the experience of patrons and work well under stress at a fast pace. The ideal candidate will also have upscale service experience.

The duties and requirements for this position are:

• Providing excellent customer service.
• Take food and drink orders from the guest with a positive/upbeat attitude.
• You must adhere to all safety/sanitation requirements and have good personal hygiene.
• Write the guests orders down and correctly input the orders into the computer system.
• Engage with guests in a friendly manner.
• Memorize the menu and make suggestions.
• Ensure guests are enjoying their meals and take corrective actions if there are any issues.
• Collect and process guest payment in a timely manner.
• Must have strong communication skills, a high attention to detail, electronic and computer proficiency.
• Ability to maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance.
• Memorize the menu and make suggestions.
• Must be willing to work in an inside/outside setting.
• Must be able to lift 25lbs.
• Rhythm on Monroe expects employees to work their schedule as it is assigned to them weekly. Call outs must be approved by Manager on Duty before scheduled shift and must be accompanied by a doctor's excuse.

Qualifications:

• Must pass a background check.
• Minimum of 1 year of serving experience in a full-service restaurant. (upscale pref.)
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Available to work day/night shifts and weekends/holidays.

Pay:

• $2.50 p/hr + Tips and Gratuities
