Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students through Extended School Year (ESY) services this summer. Seeking a skilled school psychologist to help deliver specialized compensatory services in a vibrant educational setting. This short-term assignment will run from June 15th through July 30th, 2026, serving students who need your expertise to thrive.

You will work on-site, no travel required, offering essential psychological support during school hours. Your schedule will generally run from 7:45 am to 2:00 pm, with weekly hours determined by student needs.

Qualifications:
• Hold an active and valid Alabama School Psychologist license
• Experience in delivering school-based psychological services
• Strong understanding of IEPs and compensatory service delivery
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively under a flexible summer schedule
• Commitment to providing in-person support (virtual or remote options are not available for this assignment)

Responsibilities:
• Assess and provide compensatory services to eligible students
• Conduct psychological evaluations as needed
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student success
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to district and legal requirements
• Participate in meetings, eligibility determinations, and planning as needed
• Support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral health during the ESY period
