Crane Operator in Tree Care

Gray’s Tree Service, a trusted provider of tree services in central Alabama and the Southeastern United States for over 25 years, is seeking skilled Crane Operators to join our growing team. As part of our dedicated crew, you will play a key role in supporting safe and efficient tree removal and debris management operations. Responsibilities

• Operate cranes and related equipment to assist with tree removal and debris handling at various job sites
• Drive company vehicles, including grapple trucks, between job locations as needed
• Assist with loading and unloading tree debris and other materials
• Work collaboratively with crew members to ensure safety and efficiency on every job
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of assigned equipment
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Maintain a professional and positive attitude with customers and team members
• Be available to work Monday through Friday, 7am to 5pm, and every other Saturday as scheduled

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Experience operating cranes, preferably in tree care or a related field
• Ability to operate manual crane controls
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites
• Strong work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Ability to perform physical work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Willingness to work every other Saturday as required
