Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a **Manufacturing Manager (Level K)** to join the **PAC-3 Program** , in **Huntsville, Alabama** . **Position Responsibilities:** + Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines + Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies + Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements + Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports + Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes + Manages, develops and motivates employees **This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.** **This position could be for various shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd).** **Candidates must be willing to work any shift, weekends, and overtime as required.** **Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):** + More than 1 year of experience leading projects and/or teams + More than 3 years of experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment + More than 3 years of experience using Lean+ and/or Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) tools + More than 3 years of experience developing and executing strategies to meet organization objectives + More than 3 years of experience implementing lean methodologies and productivity improvements + More than 1 year of experience in developing solutions to a wide range of complex technical problems, requiring ingenuity and innovation **Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):** + Bachelor's degree or higher + Experience in the Aerospace & Defense Industry and/or the military + Experience managing a Collective Bargaining Unit (CBU) / hourly union-represented workforce + Experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership **Typical Education/Experience:** Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 4 years' related work experience). **Relocation:** This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. **Travel:** Position may require travel up to 10% of the time. **Drug Free Workplace:** Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies. **Pay & Benefits:** At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
