Job Summary/Description:

WAFF needs an enterprising reporter who loves telling stories. We want reporters who want to turn in lead stories. An ideal candidate must cultivate sources.

Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- MMJ must be able to shoot write and edit enterprise stories.
- Able to work any shift as needed.
- Must be able to turn a digital story into daily stories.
- Engaged with social media.
- Solid knowledge of legal and ethical issues impacting journalism.
- Must react quickly to breaking news.
- Enterprising stories and making contacts are critical to the role

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Bachelors degree in journalism or related field.
- Social media proficiency.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Strong writing skills (broadcast & print)
