Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school psychologist position is available in the Theodore, AL area to serve students in grades K-12. This contract role offers the opportunity to work on-site within the local school system, supporting student mental health and educational success. The assignment runs from March 23, 2025, through May 29, 2026, with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week. Caseload and specific school assignments will be determined and may involve itinerant service across multiple schools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for K-12 students
• Provide counseling and support services to address student behavioral and emotional needs
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and administration to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to design interventions and promote student well-being
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies and licensing requirements

Qualifications:

• Active school psychology license in Alabama
• Experience working with K-12 student populations
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and counseling skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in school settings
• Willingness to work on-site and possibly across multiple schools
