Armored Car Driver/Messenger – Montgomery
Montgomery Armored Car Service, Inc. is looking for an armored car driver/messenger that can work successfully in an armed environment.
- Speak fluent English
- Be able to read and write in English
- Possess/maintain valid Alabama driver's license
- Possess/maintain valid pistol permit
- Pass Pre-employment /Post Accident/Reasonable Suspicion/Random/Return to work Drug screen
- Have reliable transportation to and from work
- Possess and maintain an acceptable MVR
- Possess and maintain a clean criminal record
- Be familiar with the local area/roads/landmarks
- Be able to read and follow directions/read a map
- Follow all local traffic laws
- Possess good customer relations and communication skills
- Be self-motivated and capable of driving for lengths of 6-10 hours at a time
- Drive long distances per day, 250-450 miles, depending on route
- Be able to safely operate an armored vehicle
- Willing to work in an armed environment and successfully complete firearms training
- Be able to lift (with hand truck assistance) : 75 pounds
- Be familiar with overall vehicle operations and simple repairs while on the road
- Follow all local and state traffic laws in areas traveled
